CNB publishes the foreign exchange reference rates for all the official currencies of Member States of the European Union. Beyond that, the foreign exchange reference rates may include other world currencies.

The rates are determined as the mid (arithmetic average) of the bid and ask quotes observed.

The Czech Overnight Index Average (CZEONIA) rate is a weighted average of interest rates on all unsecured overnight deposits placed by banks on the interbank market (including deposits placed in the CNB deposit facility), rounded to two decimal places.

The CZEONIA is calculated by the CNB each business day, and published the next day at around 9:30 CET.
