The latest National Bank of Romania (NBR) reference exchange rates. These are updated at around 12:00 CET (13:00 Romanian local time) every working day. The reference rates are published for information purposes only.
NBR publishes the foreign exchange reference rates for all the official currencies of Member States of the European Union. Beyond that, the foreign exchange reference rates may include other world currencies.
The rates are determined as the mid (arithmetic average) of the bid and ask quotes observed.

The Yield Curve Rates are the nominal interest rates on Romanian government bonds with various maturities. The data is published by the National Bank of Romania each business day at around 11:00 CET (12:00 Romanian local time).
A yield curve (also known as the term structure of interest rates) represents the relationship between interest rates and the remaining time to maturity of debt securities. These yields reflect market participants' expectations of future inflation, real interest rates and assessment of various risks.
